I'm Alessandra Bravi, and I’m working as an economist in the office of the senior economist.

My main areas of expertise cover:

1. Remittances and migration
2. Macroeconomic policy
3. Poverty reduction

I have six years of experience in the field of analytical research and project management.

My work:

Together with the senior economist office team, I'm supporting country offices and national partners in the region of Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States on issues of economic research, project design, remittances, migration, gender, and Roma vulnerability.  

I have worked both in the private and public sector, including with Standard and Poors’ Latin America sovereign ratings in New York and as business intelligence manager for Western Union, focusing on remittances and migration. I have also worked for the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the Italian Development Cooperation office in Vietnam, and the United Nations Development Operations Coordination Office (DOCO).
