The Global Compact Network Moldova launched a national campaign on environment protection

Chisinau, May 16, 2009 - About 300 employees representing 15 Moldova companies – Members of Global Compact carried out sanitation activities in the park of Rascani sector in Chisinau municipality.

This corporate volunteer action was implemented as part of the national environmental protection campaign with the support of the UN Office in Moldova and the Chisinau Association for Management of Green Areas.

By launching and implementing the Ecological Office Code “GO GREEN” within GCNM member companies and organizations, representatives of Moldovan civil society and business environment undertake the responsibility to join the efforts for environmental protection and to become a model in enhancing social and environmental performance.
