Ms. Pascale Bonzom

Summary: The Private Sector Engagement Policy Specialist supports tasks relating to private sector engagement and private sector development, with particular focus on advocating the UN Global Compact and developing business partnerships to strengthen sectoral value chains. Key functions include: CO support, Regional Business Partnerships, Policy and Guidelines, UN Coordination, Knowledge Management, and Resource Mobilization.

Pascale worked previously for 4 years at UNDP Madagascar, as a Program Officer in charge of the Private Sector portfolio and in particular of the Growing Sustainable Business for poverty reduction program. She started her career as a Business Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers and worked 2.5 years in London and 2.5 years in NY in the Operational Effectiveness section of the firm.

She trained as a chemist in France, where she got an engineering degree from the "Ecole Nationale Superieure de Chimie de Toulouse", and in the UK, where she obtained her PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of London, School of Pharmacy.
