Mr. Daniel Hanspach
UNDP Bratislava Regional Centre Summary: Daniel Hanspach is Emerging Donors Policy Specialist at Bratislava Regional Centre since December 2002. He designed and currently manages the Czech, Hungarian and Slovak Trust Funds, the new donor countries' delivery mechanisms of Official Development Assistance. He also provides policy advice to other emerging donor countries and oversees national capacity-building projects for development cooperation. He began working for UNDP in 1998 as a National Liaison Officer in the Czech Republic. Before coming to UNDP, Mr. Hanspach worked at the Institute of Sociology of the Czech Academy of Sciences as a researcher in the area of local government, decentralization and regional development. He also taught political sociology and local government at the Charles Univerity and at the University of Economics in Prague.
