DESCRIPTION:
The main objective of the Project is to improve protection of human rights of the women involved in labor migration and to increase the quality of services provided by relevant government and nongovernmental bodies to women migrant workers and victims of human trafficking. This goal will be achieved through supporting the involved actors as well as vulnerable women and their families that would help to improve the legal status of women, target the issues of employment and reduction of poverty, and contribute to the protection of migrant workers’ rights in general.
 
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
 
Activity 1: Conducting in depths sociological research on internal labor migration in Uzbekistan among women, legal and administrative protection of their rights, with recommendations for the relevant state bodies and civil society groups for solution of the problems identified.

Activity 2. Raising of awareness and knowledge among government, law-enforcement, civil society bodies and general population on the rights of women labor migrants and victims of human trafficking and developing capacities of these bodies to assist in the reintegration of these women into the society
