MAIN ACTIVITIES:
1)       Gender Mainstreaming Action Plan delivered and agreed upon by CO and stakeholders, including UN sister-agencies and relevant governmental ministries.
2)       Gender Mainstreaming Plan implemented.
MAIN OUTCOMES:
1. Developed a training module and methodology and GM handbook for Turkey (added value: followed logical framework approach – gender analysis); handbook was very broadly disseminated also to external actors – still being used (added value: filled the lack of vocabulary on GM in Turkish).
2. Capacity building of UNDP project base staff: 75 people were trained (mainly project staff working in the as well as low level decision makers – mainly outside UNDP); inside the office – lack of understanding and capacity on gender (and other crosscutting issues);
3. Gender Assessment in selected programmes. (See tools section).
