Handbook developed to help activists, policy makers and legislators concerned with securing greater equality between women and men to promote integrating of gender perspective into all areas of policy and decision-making.
After its first edition it has been widely tested with practicioners. Based on tremendous feedback, the Handbook was in 2005 updated designed in its second edition to meet their pressing need for practical, relevant guidance in gender mainstreaming that was appropriate for the Central and Eastern European Region and the CIS.
