It is SIDA’s phasing out project on gender in Kazakhstan that aims at establishing gender equality and intensifying and sustaining the results of the previous projects.
 
MAIN ACTIVITIES: Gender lobbying, raising gender awareness in media, men and gender, capacity building in gender mainstreaming

In March 2007 UNDP GID Bureau in Kakzahstan has launched a project:
Tomiris 2: Promotion Gender Equality in Kazakhstan.
The project aims to assist in implementation of gender mainstreaming of public resources at the local and regional level, raising awareness on men and gender, gender-sensitizing media and increase gender equality for women in decision-making. Three concepts will be used - 3R-method, Men and Gender and Gender Lobbying in four interacting components.
