Mr. Andrey Ivanov

Summary: Andrey Ivanov is Human Development policy Advisor at Bratislava Regional Centre. He deals with mainstreaming human development into policy practice, human development trainings and reporting and provides support to COs in NHDRs drafting and production. In the area of poverty monitoring he is involved in analyses of impacts of development interventions on vulnerable populations, data collection, human development and social inclusion indicators construction. He is also working on conceptualizing experience from development interventions and the transition in Eastern Europe.



Ms. Susanne Milcher

Summary: Susanne Milcher is a Specialist in Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction at the Bratislava Regional Centre. She works on regional projects dealing with poverty and social exclusion analysis, disaggregated social statistics, human development and Roma inclusion. In addition, she is providing advisory services to country offices on poverty, vulnerability and social exclusion measurements and research, NHDRs, and social inclusion programming. Susanne holds a Master's degree in economics from Maastricht University, Netherlands. She wrote her Master's thesis on the issue of Roma poverty in the Slovak Republic.



Mr. Daniel Skobla

Summary: Daniel Skobla is Poverty and Social Inclusion Officer with the Country Support Team at Bratislava Regional Centre, focusing on poverty, social inclusion and human development issues. Before coming to UNDP he worked as a research fellow at the Institute of Sociology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences and as a programme manager at the Regional Environmental Center (REC) in Bratislava. Daniel studied economics and sociology at the Central European University (CEU) in Warsaw and obtained a Ph.D. at the Polish Acadedmy of Sciences. His research focused on regional development, social inequalities, ethnicity and nationalism.
