1. Kura-Aras UNDP-GEF (PIMS 2272) (under implementation)
   Preparation of a GEF FSP to reduce meet requirements for optimum ecosystem function and the reduction of contaminant load into the Caspian Sea
2. Kura-Aras ENVSEC (under implementation)
   ENVSEC-component to support the UNDP-GEF project "Reducing transboundary degradation of the Kura-Aras River Basin"  
3. The conservation of the trans-boundaryPrespa Lakes (under implementation) 
   The conservation of biodiversity and water resources of the Prespa Lakes Basin and pollution mitigation through the adoption of integrated management
4. Dnipro - industrial chemical pollution reduction (under implementation) 
   The reduction of industrial chemical pollution from small industries currently discharging through municipal waste systems
5. Strategic action program for the Caspian Sea (under implementation) 
   The primary objective is to support the countries to consolidate and begin to implement the Strategic Action Programme for the Caspian Sea
6. Black Sea project (Tranche 2) (under implementation) 
   To reinforce regional cooperation under the Black Sea Convention, and to protect costal and marine ecosystems for sustainable use of these resources

10. Kuar-Aras Aquifer/Groundwater Project (under implementation) 
    Analyse transboundary aquifers in the Sauth Caucasus and include into the Kura-Aras TDA (under UNDP-GEF)

12. Protection of Prespa Region (under implementation) 
    To reduce agricultural run-off and pollution of the Lake while at the same time helping to preserve the unique flora and fauna of the area.
13. Danube River Basin Project (UNDP-GEF) (completed) 
    To assure nutrient reduction and sustainable management of water bodies and ecological resources in the Danube River Basin.
14. Start of Lake Peipsi/ Chudskoe Basin Programme (completed) 
    The project aims to develop and start a lake Peipsi Basin Programme for nutrient load reduction and conservation of habitats and eco-systems
15. Danube TEST pilot roject (completed) 
    The project objective is to reduce pollution through industrial environmental management and trans-boundary knowledge sharing

    Conservation and sustainable use of polje ecosystems through the demonstration of conservation practices and techniques in the Livanjsko Polje.

    14. Protection of Black Sea Coast and Rioni Delta (in preparation) 
        To reduce the vulnerability of existing coastal populations in the Poti Port area and Rioni Delta to climate change-driven coastal hazards.
    15. International Waters Good Pratice Repository (in preparation) 
        Promotion of replication of good practices from GEF-"International Waters" projects through collection, analysis and dissemination of lessons learned
    16. Improvement and Protection of Caspian Groundwater (in preparation) 
        The project aims to protect Caspian groundwater resources and understand treats through adaptation and mitigation programs
    17. IWRM and transboundary dialog in Central Asia (in preparation) 
        Developing a National IWRM Plan and Water Supply & Sanitation Strategy for Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan; fostering transboundary dialog in Central Asia
    18. Eastern Baltic Marine Protection area (in preparation) 
        The project aims to create and manage a marine protected area network in the eastern Baltic Sea consisting of 13 sites.
    19. Tisza River Basin regional GEF-MSP (in preparation) 
        The project supports the riparian countries to sustainably manage land and water resources and address climate changes challenges
    20. Coordinated management of the Prut River (idea) 
        Management in the Prut River Basin for sustainable use and protection of ecosystems, poverty reduction, and improved use of natural resources
