Major activities

The objective of the project is to support the sustainable local development through the establishment of local multisectoral partnmerships in selected microregions. The partnerships composed of all parts of local commuinity, local NGOs and businesses should work together and agree on a common strategy that will be implemented in microregion. The local offices will be created in microregions to monitor local strategies and prepare and implement development projects.

The project has 3 outputs. The 1st is the Analysis of microregions and development of methodology for local partnerships. The outcome of this output is identification of pilot microregions and prepared technical methodology for local partnerships. The 2nd output is development of local partnerships and local strategies. The outcome is established of local partnerships and participatory based local strategies. The 3rd output is the preparation of development projects and applications for EU funds that will provide financial support for development of microregions.
