  1. GEF SGP Albania (under implementation)
    Various small grants programme in whole Albania.
  2. Phasing Out Ozone Depleting Substances (under implementation)
    To assist Armenia in the rapid phase-out of Ozone Depleting Substances (ODS) consistent with international efforts in this direction.
  3. Preparation of POPs National Plan in Georgia (under implementation)
    To create sustainable capacity and ownership in Georgia to meet its obligations under the Stockholm Convention
  4. POP´s NIP priority projects in Kazakhstan (under implementation)
    Development of three MSP’s in priority areas identified during the formulation of Kazakhstan’s NIP
  5. Phasing Out methyl bromide in Kyrgyzstan (under implementation)
    The project focuses on the phase-out of the overall methyl bromide (MB) consumption in Kyrgyzstan by 2008
  6. POP´s NIP priority projects in Lithuania (under implementation)
    Development of two MSPs in priority areas identified in POPs NIP
  7. POP´s elimination National Plan (under implementation)
    The National Implementation Plan describes how Lithuania will meet its obligations under the Convention to phase-out POPs sources
  8. GEF SGP Macedonia (under implementation)
    UNDP/ GEF Global Environment Facility , small grants programme
  9. Technologies for destroying POPS (under implementation)
    To demonstrate the viability at the Global level of available non-combustion technologies for use in the destruction of obsolete POPs
  10. Energy Efficiency Buildings in the Czech Republic (completed)
    To reduce the CO2 emissions of the Czech Republic by improving the energy efficiency of the new buildings to be constructed
  11. Georgia POPs Emissions Reduction (in preparation)
    To meet commitments under the Stockholm Convention. The focus is on unintentional POPs emission originating from uncontrolled waste burning.
  12. Reduction of POPs Pesticides in Georgia (in preparation)
    Enable Georgia to meet its commitments under the Stockholm Convention focusing on PoPs pesticides.
  13. POP´s risk reduction in Latvia (in preparation)
    To avoid environmental release of PCBs from working and electrical equipment and creating base for POPs risk reduction measures in the future.
  14. Elimination of POPs Pesticide in Lithuania (in preparation)
    To allow the Lithuanian institutional and technical capacity to meet the challenges of the Stockholm Convention with regards to POPs pesticides
  15. Elimination of PCBs in Lithuania (in preparation)
    To avoid environmental release of PCBs from working and obsolete electrical equipment.
  16. Standards and Labels to Promote Energy Efficiency (in preparation)
    Lead to the adoption and implementation of codes, standards and labels in order to promote energy efficiency in a faster pace
