Since 2003 she has been working for the UNDP/GEF Regional team for Europe and CIS as a coordinator for capacity development and adaptation portfolio. She is a member of the Balaton Group, the international network of environmental professionals.
Summary: Geordie Colville is Regional Technical Advisor for Climate Change and Energy at Bratislava Regional Centre. He advises country offices in the development and implementation of a portfolio of GEF-funded renewable energy, energy efficiency and sustainable transport projects. Geordie holds a Master's degree in Environmental Economics, a Bachelor's degree in Environment Management and a UK industry qualification as a Forest Manager.
Summary: Adriana Dinu is Regional Technical Advisor for Biodiversity for Europe and CIS. She has 20 years of field experience in conservation and development in Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Central America and Southern Africa. Since 1992, she has worked with the UNDP and the World Bank as a GEF Project Development Specialist, Chief Technical Advisor and biodiversity expert for a number of GEF-funded projects. From 2000-2005, she was based in South Africa as Development Director for Fauna & Flora International and before that in Washington, DC as Director for Habitat Programs for EarthVoice/The Humane Society of United States. From 1991-1996, Adriana worked as Romania Country Representative for IUCN and as a researcher in freshwater ecology at the University of Bucharest. Adriana holds a MSc in Genetics (University of Bucharest, 1987) and one in Ecotechny (UNESCO/Cousteau Chair of Ecotechny – European Program, 1994).

Before assuming his current assignment in Bratislava, Juerg Staudenmann was working in UNDP headquarters New York as Evaluation Specialist, after his initial assignment for UNDP (2001) as Environmental Programme Officer within the Programme of Assistance to the Palestinian People (PAPP) in Jerusalem. Before coming to UNDP, Juerg Staudenmann was working in Applied Research on Water and Resources Recycling (aquaculture management). Summary: Klara Tothova is Environmental Officer with the Country Support Team, responsible for development and implementation of environmental projects in Central Europe. The portfolio primarily includes projects financed from the Global Environmental Facility (GEF). Prior to joining UNDP Klara worked at the Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic, where she was involved in the development and enforcement of environmental regulations. She has extensive experience in planning, preparation, implementation and monitoring of internationally-funded development projects, mainly in Slovakia, Czech republic and Hungary.
