Inkar Kadyrzhanova

Programme Analyst; BRC Focal Point for Central Asia

Summary: Inkar Kadyrzhanova is a Programme Analyst with the Energy and Environment Practice. Her responsibilities include the development and implementation of the Environment and Security in Central Asia, South Eastern Europe and Southern Caucasus regional programme. Inkar is also working on a number of cross-sectoral regional initiatives in Central Asia, such as information management network CARNET, support to capacity building and training on sustainable land management. Before joining UNDP, Inkar worked for the UNEP Regional Resource Center for Asia and the Pacific, in Thailand, as a member of the Central Asian task force. Inkar has a degree from Moscow State University in Geography, and two Master's degrees, one in Public Administration from the Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Strategic Research and one in Public Economic Management from University of Birmingham, UK.
