BackgroundRMAP carries out assessments, development planning and implementation of priority projects in selected municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) by using the international and domestic human rights framework as guidance in identifying priorities and crucial development interventions. ObjectivesThe overall objective of the RMAP is to work towards the institutionalization of the RB approach as a model for local development planning in BiH. Achievements and Expected ResultsThe objective will be achieved by combining four closely interrelated specific objectives/ components of the programme: strengthening capacities of municipal stakeholders in partner municipalities to manage and actively participate in the long-term sustainable socio-economic development; facilitating the preparation process of municipal development strategies; effective implementation of prioritized municipal interventions and initiation and strengthening of policy level dialogue on a RB approach to development in BiH. |
