The development objective of this project is to develop and enhance national capacities and facilitate the process of mainstreaming climate change issues into national planning and policy, thus enabling the country to deal with climate change and consider it not only as environmental issue but as an issue of sustainable development. Most important challenges: An assessment of potential impacts of climate change in a selected area of Albania and adaptation measures, preparation of the Second National Communication of Albania and submission to the Conference of Parties
