Our Voices from Eurasia blog collects analysis, news, resources and ideas about the challenges of development in Eastern Europe, Central Asia the Caucasus  and the Western Commonwealth of Independent States (the so-called transition economies). Though informed by the work of UNDP staff on the ground, the blog is informal and represents the views of the bloggers, not UNDP.

Our objectives

  • Provide commentary and analysis on human development issues in transition economies
  • Whenever possible, share stories based on experience in the field, from the point of view of practitioners
  • Enter into a dialogue with development practitioners, the private sector and civil society organizations that are operating in the region
  • Point to data, resources and references that might be of interest to development practitioners in the region and beyond
